Plaud: AI Note Taker

plaud is great, the recorders are sharp, clear and 99 percent precise. so far the app it's self is unbelievable. it gives outlines of the recording and almost precise transcription. there are many great features within this app to help keep all your audio organized, including the transcript. 4 stars, though, the price for pro and unlimited are very high priced. I wish to see a more reasonable price on there minute, or plans to transcribe, especially when the product cost is already very high.

The best thing about Plaud is that it is completely stand alone and my phone does not have to be on, or even on me, for Plaud to work. I just press the button and wait for a single vibrate and I know we are recording. The next best thing is that Plaud automatically uploads to my phone, I can select a report in several different formats. once the reports are created I can upload them into my Dropbox account with a couple of taps.

I'm really happy with the notes this app produces. Really impressed how easy it was to make my own custom template using a previous note that i written. The NotePin is perfect for recording in areas where there is no cell service. Way more affordable than other medical note taking apps. Just wish it didnt need its own custom charger, I'm afraid I'm going to lose it, its so small. Wish the NotePin had a usbc port instead of the extra charging dock.

Charged the full subscription several days early before the end of the trial. I'll probably end up having to do a charge back on the card because they have been so unhelpful about it. I'll definitely be avoiding them in the future, there are much more trustworthy options out there that won't run a low level scam on you.

the voice recording is great. I wish the naming system would pickup on when people introduce themselves. I also wish there were some better formatting options, and exporting doesn't always work the best, but the app is still phenomenal in spite of all that. if there was a way to give commands to it verbally during recording, such as having it remember my voice and using a wake word, that would be amazing.
