Victory Shield

Used to be great. Having lots of VPN issues now. I get err unreachable errors on websites multiple times per day. This includes clicking links, but also in apps like the Airbnb app and others. Things just don't load. Only solution is to toggle the VPN off. It will immediately restart itself so you're still protected. The links will then work and load for awhile, but then in a few hours, they'll stop working again. I had to create a VPN toggle shortcut on my home page.

Works great overall, but on more than one occasion, I've encountered issues when switching networks (lan to mobile data, etc.) and at different points (at least one occassion) the app interrupted my call network connectivity, requiring me to uninstall. Phone restart did not fix issue on that occassion. Please sort out the connectivity bugs and app will be 10/10.

I love the concept, but it isn't very effective. I am the one who needs the help, and have noticed a lot of slack in the functionality of this app. If it actually took a screenshot every minute, it would be great, but it doesn't. In fact, I have discovered that it doesn't take it at all when I use mobile LTE, even tho it takes screenshots on Wi-Fi. And never offline. You should make it take them all the time despite connectivity, and then upload them to the Ally once the device gets connec5ions.

For the most part it's great. However, after migrating from the apk to the app store version, a notification showd up every hour or two in the notification bar saying "scanning activity for [username]". And there's no option to turn that off in the app, and notifications are required for the app to function, and turning the notifications on "silent" doesn't prevent it either. If anything this notification is a hindrance as it reminds you of your problem, which makes you more likely to relapse.

I have used Covenant Eyes for almost five years. It does what I intended it to. Help keep me accountable. Unfortunately, the app keeps connecting and disconnecting to the VPN quickly over and over again. It prevents some websites from loading. Or I can't tell if the payment is just submitted went through. This off-on back and forth disconnects me from the internet for those brief seconds. It happens on both WiFi and data. A bit frustrating. Other than that, it's been helpful.
