4★Wow these eero devices work so great I can play video games and watch tv without any lag. This definitely was the best thing invented nearly 10 years ago. The only thing that sucks you really have to know the difference between wifi 6 and 7. I didn't know I bought the wrong eero for my router at first but then once I looked up on copilot that it still works. In fact I bought a eero 7 for a wifi 6 band. But it doesn't update automatically. That is why it's really important to buy the right eero.

2★Started out great....now not so much. So many updates and every time it reboots everything Alexa devices get placed badly and don't respond. Performance gets worse throughout the mesh as well. finally, the eero built in router with my Ring alarm was a bad idea as I'm now stuck with the old eero 6. that's on me for not thinking it through. when this ages out I will definitely switch to something else.

1★I shouldn't need an account or use a mobile app to edit Wi-Fi settings. Most routers have a way to access the settings via any web browser, meaning you can access them on any device so long as you have the admin login. If I need to do port forwarding or something, I'm likely already on a computer which should be able to access the network settings. I shouldn't be required to grab my phone, install an app, and set up an account to some service just to change basic settings.

1★If you don't want in depth router configurations, then this app is for you. Paying for devices that you have no control over is useless. Eero picks your band signal without your say instead of letting me pick what I want my devices on. Need a separate router to do that and get more robust firewall settings. Begs the question if you need the eero in the first place.

1★The devices work fine when they work. But if you ever need support for a non-functioning device and you call them, that's where it goes bad!! You'll face an endless empty loop of people wanting you to connect, reconnect, disconnect, relocate, and plug and unplug everything, to NO AVAIL. It was immediately clear that my device had stopped functioning, but the support people seemed pre-programmed to avoid replacement at all cost. Ultimately, the vendor who sold me the units replaced it.
