2★I tried to order something, they showed that the store had what I wanted, but they didn't. My Instacart shopper said that they didn't even carry that item. Instacart was going to charge me $15 if I canceled my order even though the store didn't have what I wanted. The Instacart shopper wasn't going to cancel my order for me because she said she was shopping for someone else. They charged me $7 for a long distance fee and $2.49 service fee,and I had a 14 dayfree trial. I don't recommend . :-(

3★I have been using the Instacart app for a little while now, and I really enjoy it. The app is very easy to use, you do pay more for some items than you would in the store, but that is the cost of convience. 9/11/24 UPDATE: I recently notice that when I order heavy items the female shoppers will mark them as not available, even when the item is available. I feel like some of them don't want to lift the heavy items. I'm ready to stop using instacart. I wish I could choose male shopper for my order

3★They give coupon codes, but then you can't ever use them. Again, I got a promo code for $40 off $80 IF I PICK UP. Somehow, there is never anyone available to make a pick up order, so they tell you to make it delivery. Well, then I pay extra and have to tip someone, and don't get the money off. I dont know why they keep advertising pick up if the stores around me don't offer it.

1★Before Instacart offered free delivery. Now, in order to force Instacart+ on people, you have to pay anywhere from $1.99 to $9.99 depending on how fast you need the items delivered; absolutely awful. Plus, shoppers don't know how to say thank you. A $25 tip isn't enough? Do you want $1,000? Items shown as in stock are often marked as not available & alternatives ignored. What a joke Instacart has become.

1★Beware! I have tried to reach support and work through ordering issues multiple times. Each time they have told me a different way that they cannot help me. They have told me they can link a new account but without my Instacart+ offers (which make restaurants affordable), that I can verify my number in a month after my subscription expires, and that, because I was able to place one order, I am not eligible for a refund. Run, fast and far.
