3★TurboTax is slowly becoming more and more like bad click-bait with all their internal ads and constantly trying to get you to upgrade. I used to do my taxes for free and took 10min max, but with all the extra "let's try to improve your return" they've become their own worst enemy. I now have to pay ($30+) to file, get charged for direct deposit (I dont care if its early I just don't want it to get lost in the mail), and it takes min 1hr now. Annoying, Tedious, Expensive.

1★I get all the way to the end of filling my taxes where it says they'll send an email with a verification code. I wait a few minutes and don't receive an email so I resent it and still nothing. So I open the AI chat box for help and it said "keep TurboTax open on another browser, check to make sure your email is correct, check spam and junk folders" I do all of the above and try it again. Still nothing Updated email to other email address. Still nothing. Won't be using TurboTax again

1★Can't even accept its own sample values for some fields when I was trying to troubleshoot my issue with input errors. Also, this year they randomly decided that my taxes now require an extra $75 fee when they've been the same each year. Please do yourself a favor and use another tax service instead of wasting time with TurboTax only for them to tell you last minute you have to pay an extra fee because they felt like it.

3★Very quick and convenient, but buyer beware - they charge an extra 40 bucks at the very end of the process just to pay with your refund instead of up-front! And if my return wasn't a simple W2 that should qualify for free processing, I really don't know what is. Intuit managed to take $110 of my refund without me interacting with a single person. This whole industry is kind of a scam. Well played, guys.

1★Massive fees added this year. Took almost a quarter of my return. Got a bigger return than last year but because of the new added fees, I'm still getting less money. I've used this app for around 10 years now, but I'm not using it again. Over $200 to file my taxes is excessive. Why do the response bots on here always ask you to reach out on social media platforms? I don't have any of those accounts and I'm not getting one just to boost their engagement. If they wanted to help they would.
