The "features" on the app has progressively gotten worse as they continue to "update" it. Restricting drivers to use the Lyft version of maps is horrendous. Telling us to make illegal turns, driving on restricted roads, and recently gave directions to a destination that would take over an hour more, rather than a more direct route, because it was 10 miles less. The passenger and I got a good laugh out of that, especially since time was a huge factor. Let us use Google again! In a 750k population

it feels like they're trying to normalize "surge pricing" to be the pay of a average ride. so we'll accept an even lower pay than before. Not that real surge pricing even exist anymore. Navigation is still absolutely junk. I don't appreciate trickle down rides after being a driver for so many years. I don't like hourly wage pricing. I prefer the actual split which we don't get anymore. Miles+time.

Since the latest update, I've had numerous issues. The GPS was never the greatest, and now seems to go haywire during a lot of rides. Sometimes it gives a completely wrong location. Driver mode keeps toggling to the off position without warning or notification, so I'm offline when I think I'm online. Tried to request support, it's very difficult to reach and when I finally did, it's someone cutting and pasting (unhelpful) instructions I'd already read on their website.

I just started driving with Lyft and the app is so frustrating. It lags in every possible way, causing me to be unable to accept rides, GPS lags and/or just dissappears, phone calls connect, but neither the driver nor the rider can hear anything making it impossible to find your rider when the map is just black and you can't hear what they are saying to you or read a message they sent because the app won't move. The map changes orientation at random. It should not be this difficult!!!

This is by far the SHADIEST company ever. I've been driving for about a year and all I can say is that, when you get good rides, the app is working perfectly fine, you will love it. But the moment you have an issue, big or small- you better have great luck because there is no way to call driver support. The only way is to use the app and they will email you and take a generation to resolve your issue. I've had issues with fares being wrong, not being paid for toll, app freezes etc. Drive Uber.
