Mileage Tracker & Log - MileIQ

Been trying to get out for a couple weeks and it's so chaotic! It's sometimes books multiple overlapping drives, sometimes it looks drives that never happened, or a books of drive at some crazy time of night that it never occurred. I get notifications from the app, but there's nothing there. And on top of all that the price point is a little insane to me. $20 - $30 sure-- but $90+? I'm just going back to my Google sheets

2017 - This app is great! I'm well into my second full year using it. It saved me a ton of time at tax season. Plus, it enabled me to claim exact mileage instead of trying to remember places. I was horrible at writing down mileage before but, with drive detection turned on, MileIQ never forgets. 2026 - after all these years, I'm canceling my subscription. it just went from $90 to $140. it's convenient for sure, but that jump in price is not worth it.

The app has worked great for me, tracking mileage for my gig job. But I'm very disappointed the price keeps going up. I was just notified that it's going up another 55% next month! Gas prices are going up for me - not the app! I just do the gig work periodically, and I don't know that it's worth it for me to pay that much for an app. I may need to cancel and look for other solutions.

It's unreliable. It stops tracking without warning. It also misses parts of a drives. It'll show you driving and then stops tracking and maybe will pick up later. 04/22/26 Today, it reported a route I did not drive, from an incorrect location, to a misnamed destination. Don't trust this app. I plan to cancel the subscription as soon as I download my remaining data and identify a replacement app.

It works great but two major drawbacks - when round trips are grouped it only saves the note and vehicle on the first of the group, and it has been picking up fewer and fewer drives in the last 2 years. Between 4 years ago and 2 years ago, drive detection worked flawlessly every single time, but now, even with perfect app settings on a flagship smartphone, it misses 1 in 15 drives. Still, it's the best option on the market right now.
