Norwegian Cruise Line

Tried to look up my reservation to get the ship itinerary. Gated at "please select a date in the future", when looking up the reservation. I'm already on the boat, so I can't select the future... Willing to modify review if I can actually look up my reservation correctly. Edit: No clue if this has been fixed, and I won't really bother checking since my trip is over. There was at least an attempt to reach out to me over this, so I've modified my review to be neutral.

unless we just had a bad ship (getaway) anyone giving this app more than 1 star has never used any other cruise line. There are no daily menus in the app, only menus for the places that never change. There is no schedule in the app, except the freestyle PDF style document that you can barely use because if you get 75% through a page it snaps to the next page. So there's a "my plans" section like other cruise lines, but then no way to put anything in it.

Sometimes I can find things, and then sometimes I can't. For example, twice before I've ben able to see a summary of my charges. Now? Not a trace. The web site is the worse than the app, but neither will win any prizes. BTW, I'm a computer programmer, so I hope you're taking heed of my comments. I would recommend some serious web/app work.

It's frustrating to require app updates every single time I open the app, regardless if it's during the trip or not. I've never seen this before and it's been happening for years, for multiple trips and multiple phones. Why can't I see my excursion reservations when I'm in the app and off the ship? I can see the reservations before the trip and on the ship. I should be able to access my information at any time. Arbitrary locking of functionality. Clunky UI. Overall frustrating experience.

It's always changing. Menu items disappear and some bookings made don't work. It also needs an on-board chat so new friends have a way to coordinate activities. It's not very intuitive either. Having to constantly disconnect and reconnect to the internet is super annoying. Even getting connected to the internet the first time is really clunky and difficult to figure out.
