My Stocks Portfolio

Simple quick way to check prices on stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, etc. Easy to add or remove items from your portfolio lists, make notes about them, review price charts at various scales (day, week, month, 3 or 6 months, 1, 2, and 5 years, max) Market news related to your items. Free version (which is what I have) includes ads at the bottom of the screen, but they are small and not obtrusive. Highly recommend.

I use this app daily, and multiple times per day. I really like the alerts that you can set for when a stock hits a target going up or down. I also like the ease in which you can access news about a stock. When you are viewing a stock chart, you just scroll up to read the latest news. I wish all apps were this easy to use and reliable!

I know the app has more potential than I use, but love it for tracking futures, funds, and specific securities during open market hours. May '26 update: My last review (Feb '24) was 5-stars. I continue to look at the market, my holdings, and related news stories multiple times during each market day through this app. If I could give this app more than 5 stars, I would!

UPDATE: Much improved in 2 years. I like this app now. Just a few things : Doesn't update total portfolio properly from one day to the next, gives fluctuating values even on a Sunday morning when all markets are closed, and doesn't update properly Vanguard stocks all the time, leaving them at the previous day values. Also, I wish there was an on/off option to update portfolio/stock value based on after hours numbers, and a way to sort stock holdings.

I have been using this app for a few years, and I love it. It's easy to set up the alerts, and it gets my attention through all my other notifications I have going off. I just wish it would push out my notes with the price alert. It will say something like "your price is above your target" but when I am running 5 day trades at a time I tend to forget if this is a take all profit notification or take part profit so I put it in the notes. Thing is, you have to go back in the app to see the notes.
