Replit: Build apps with AI

very helpful. I developed my passion project in 3 weeks, never done something like this before. sometimes you have to re-ask to do something a bunch of time which is annoying, but its very easy to use otherwise. if you can type a text, it can make it. ive used Gemini to save credits. it does blow through credits quickly and they charge you without you knowing which is annoying but it gets the job done.

Constant connection errors, couldn't even get through the first page of a single app without running the free version out of credits due to having to constantly fix errors and bugs. I decided to pay for the full version, and was not even able to complete a single inventory recording app without running out of the paid credits, then threatened with being charged money for continued use. This app is riddled with issues and wastes your credits trying to fix errors the app made in the first place.

I asked Replit to fix an error in the site it's building me, it states it fixed it, but then I run the site and the error is still not fixed. It's costing me unnecessary funds to repeat the same prompt over and over again to get the issue fixed. I understand it's AI, but I should be refunded when replits engine can't fix the issue. I shouldn't have to pay for repeated bug fixes that aren't being resolved. it's beginning to feel intentional...

App is good, but expensive. Was charged $51.05 as a metered service, something I wasn't would informed of up until it happened. The metered usage amount as they said was not refundable. I Got a refund for my subscription and would NOT recommend this app. you are better odd using Cursor Ai. its much better. Although this app has its perks, Cursor is cheaper and better overall. you pay way less for WAY more there.

overall it's great, but... Usage is hidden behind payment, which makes it extremely shady. you can do 20 actions roughly the same the next day for free then suddenly the next day you can only say one thing... and they don't let you look at it... that blocks me from paying honestly. that isn't how someone can learn and want to pay when there other options that are very transparent and just as equipped for the same tasks.
