4★Good overall. only problem is i can't change my meal in the app, i have to go to the website on my browser and request a meal change through there. Also, I wish I could have my traveler profile include the Maldives information as well to immediately request it when available instead of having to search for this every time I book a flight with united.

4★The app itself works mostly fine, biggest annoyance is that some functions require swapping to the browser and it does not carry over your credentials. You log into your account through the browser, maybe it works, maybe the page just errors out so you have to do it all over again. No obvious reason it has to be done this way. Why can't it all be done in the app? Isn't that the point? If half the time requires the browser, why wouldn't I just use the browser for 100% functionality?

1★Terrible user experience, barely functioning. Check-in process is painful and takes multiple tries with lots of "Sorry, something went wrong." messages. Scanning in passports took 10 or more tries for each traveller. The reward for all that is NOT getting your boarding passes. There is not one mention of a boarding pass in this app. Unbelievably bad for a top tier airline.

1★as a first time flyer, I found this app very hard to navigate. It was never made clear how or when I could expect to receive my boarding pass until it just happened. So for the hours up until that point, I was STRESSED. The other airlines I am using for this trip made it very clear: "You may check in to your flight 24 hours before departure" + an hourly countdown. Then, right when I checked in, it gave me my boarding pass. but with United I was struggling right up until departure time.

1★It is almost impossible to check in unless you have a current Mileage Plus account. I have Mileage Plus account cards from several years ago, but just found out they are not current. when I bought these tickets, I was assigned new numbers, didn't realize that, and the system cannot find them. so it took over 2 hrs to check in for our flight! UGH!
