U.S. Bank Mobile Banking

The app is constantly lagging and I have to go into settings; clear cache, force stop, toggle data permissions, and reopen. The system holds funds after an online deposit or credits, especially if it's the weekend, instead of the credit pending black its in the red plus holding an additional amount; Monday comes I look at my account and there's more money than I anticipated, very difficult to balance. I've done online banking with 2 other banks with zero issue. Maybe a Credit Union is the way.

I have to drop a star for this app. While it is still useful and does what it must, it has become more cluttered and less streamlined for basic tasks like checking balances and seeing accounts at a glance. Like every other app now, there are constant promotional messages for the bank's different credit cards, credit-line increases, etc. and it creates more "sludge" to get to what I really need to do. Sigh....

Functional app, but constantly blasts you with requests to review the app, or pseudo-ads to use more usbank services. I'm already a customer; please stop bugging me. Edit, 2026: more ads for extra us bank services have appeared, to the extent that it's hard to wade through them to do the things I want to do in the app, such as reviewing transactions. Last time I opened the app there were 3 visible transactions and 15 ads right below there. To view more transactions I needed to do a search.

Love this app. I check all my account balances, including a few investment type accounts. Transfer funds between accounts, place " Stop payments" on checks, check rates, deposit a check. I haven't actually found anything I can't do yet. I LOVE this app! I RARELY go to the bank. Usually only to get a crisp $50.00 for a birthday gift! 😁

It's horrible. The customer service takes forever to reach, the app you can't do anything with. Want to dispute a charge? you have to call. Want to change your pin? You have to call. Any other banking app I've used doesn't require you to call. The amount of errors I receive trying to see my card number is insane. Not to mention the banking app hardly shows the right amount. I might deposit 100, but it shows I deposited 275. Make this make sense. Just use the website. The app is useless.
