Theme 'Optional purchases' identified in recent_review #5

“So fun! it does have lots of micro transactions, but they are completely optional. you can win some of the micro transactions thru tournaments, but if you are mediocre, you may only win 1 or 2 every 4 months.”Rating: 5★ October 26, 2025 348 likes - Step up from the first game with longer-lasting appeal.
Theme 'Improvement over predecessor' identified in recent_review #5
Evidence (1)
“it definitely is a step up from bb racing 1, and you can definitely play it longer without getting bored. Great game!”Rating: 5★ October 26, 2025 348 likes
Cons
- Broken progression system requiring excessive grinding or spending to advance.
Theme 'Broken progression' identified in recent_review #1 and #3
Evidence (2)
“But the progression is completely broken. It's taken me about a year of daily playing to get from lvl 14 to 15, but there is no realistic way to reach lvl 16 without spending >$100 (real money).”Rating: 4★ November 05, 2025 1,819 likes“Here you have only one chance per level to try your chance to win a car and it is really hard competition and makes it almost impossible to win it. Otherwise offering payment.”Rating: 1★ December 20, 2025 41 likes - Ads are required for race rewards, even after paying to remove ads.
Theme 'Misleading ad removal' identified in recent_review #2
Evidence (1)
“It offered to remove ads permanently for $2.99 (if I recall correctly), which I purchased because I assumed it would alleviate the onerous process of getting race rewards, but it did nothing for that. Presumably, that purchase only applies to the already rare random ads.”Rating: 2★ January 26, 2026 12 likes - Repetitive content with little new additions over time.
Theme 'Lack of updates' identified in recent_review #4
Evidence (1)
“But they barely add anything new to the game nowadays. Sure when u load up the game you see challenges, but that gets repetitive. Then every other week you get a challenge mode where it is the exact same every other week.”Rating: 4★ February 16, 2026 1 likes

4★I've been playing this for years, a fun Mario Kart experience. But the progression is completely broken. It's taken me about a year of daily playing to get from lvl 14 to 15, but there is no realistic way to reach lvl 16 without spending >$100 (real money). If you win the daily races, it might be possible to reach 16 in 4 years by earning $50K/week . Crazy.

2★Good game ruined by ads. The ads aren't intrusive, but, for the most part, you only get rewards from races by watching ads. It offered to remove ads permanently for $2.99 (if I recall correctly), which I purchased because I assumed it would alleviate the onerous process of getting race rewards, but it did nothing for that. Presumably, that purchase only applies to the already rare random ads.

1★Including me, most people are playing this because the first one had a strategy and plan. You could win a car, to see the levels and so on. Here you have only one chance per level to try your chance to win a car and it is really hard competition and makes it almost impossible to win it. Otherwise offering payment. you gonna loose lots of customers if you don't change this. No motivation, keeps doing the same. You can't choose the map like in the previous. So, waste of time and nerves.

4★This game is a very good sequel to Beach Buggy. But they barely add anything new to the game nowadays. Sure when u load up the game you see challenges, but that gets repetitive. Then every other week you get a challenge mode where it is the exact same every other week. All of this combined with the same time every year when they partner up with Hot Wheels again just makes the game overall repetitive. They should add something new without ruining the game like Clash Royale with their new Heroes.

5★So fun! it does have lots of micro transactions, but they are completely optional. you can win some of the micro transactions thru tournaments, but if you are mediocre, you may only win 1 or 2 every 4 months. I have honestly won 1, but like I said it doesn't matter if you just wanna have fun, you can still get half of everything for free. it definitely is a step up from bb racing 1, and you can definitely play it longer without getting bored. Great game!
