1★They removed functionality inside the app in this newest update. I used to adjust brightness down from another room on my son's TV at night and set sleep timer. I can't do this anymore. Bring that feature back! If I wanted to look at the TV when adjusting it, I'd just use the TV remote! Maybe try trialing a setting like this before forcing it on everyone. And your response? I uninstalled and went with a 3rd party remote that does what you took away. I'll pay them before using you again.

1★previously this app used to allow you to use the TV menu on your phone instead of actually having to use your phone like a remote. it was so much easier to change settings when they appeared on your cell phone screen versus having to stare at the TV and push the corresponding buttons on the phone. I ended up using an older version of the app for quite a while until tonight I decided to set the timer on my TV and when I open the app it would not allow me to do anything other than upgrade the app

1★this app actually sucks, all i wanted was remote features but instead I get adware with corporate enforced updates. to the other readers, if you connect your TV to the internet make sure you block internet access to it on your router so they can't get any advertising data. it will still allow you to use the remote. We don't have to play their games

2★UPDATED: I did get a response, but the response did nothing to address my review which makes me think I was not articulate enough. I can access all my tvs setting using the app, as it will pop up on the TV, bo different than using the remote. HOWEVER, I used to be able to access the settings on the app on my phone, without popping them up on the tv. Having that functionality allowed me to change settings that were GREYED OUT when trying to change setting directly on the TV with my remote.

1★Terrible app. The commercials are ridiculous. I was watching a movie, but after I was half through with it, the app glitched out and sent my Vizio tv back to the home screen. When I tried to restart my movie, it went back to the beginning. I attempted to fast forward to where I left off, but it was impossible because I could not get past all the TOO FREQUENT commercials. For every 5-10 minutes of movie, I had to endure a full 2 minute commercial break. I gave up at the second break, never again
