Why does the app keep saying my login information is wrong? high
Several recent users report persistent issues with the app forgetting login credentials, rejecting correct passwords, or claiming an email has no associated account. One reviewer noted that the 'remember me' and biometric login features do not work, forcing a manual email and OTP code login every time. This is a frequently reported recent problem.

Can I pay rent with my bank account or credit card? medium
The app description states you can submit one-time payments and set up automatic payments. However, a recent reviewer mentions the app only allows linking a bank account via Plaid and does not let you manually enter bank details. Getting Started
Source: app_description_and_user_feedback_noted
- Step 1: Download and open the RentCafe Resident app.
- Step 2: Use the email address and password associated with your RentCafe account to log in. Note: recent users report login failures, so ensure you have your correct credentials handy and save a backup password in your notes app.
- Step 3: If you forget your password, use the 'Forgot Password' option on the login page. Because the 'remember me' feature may not work, be prepared to enter your email and a one-time passcode (OTP) each time you log in.
- Step 4: After login, explore the available features for your community, such as making a payment, submitting a maintenance request, or booking an amenity.

1★I don't like this app. I use this app to pay apartment rent and call for maintenance. I hardly used this app but when you use it again it breaks. keeps telling me my log in info is wrong (even though I have it written down) but my info is correct because I recently had to make a new password again from last month saying my log in info is wrong. Plus my email "is never on file" because I don't get the email for help and I end up having to go in person to the staff and the desk.

1★Don't be surprised when their "service" that monitors insurance status mistakenly tells you your insurance has lapsed because their AI bot can't read properly, so they threaten to force-place an insurance policy. So then you have to go re-upload your documents so that the AI overlords can try again to properly understand a simple document. Also, bring back passwords or at least biometrics. NO, I don't want to link my Google account to give you more of my data.

1★Junk app. Login worked at first, but now it just claims there's no account with my email address. Also doesn't give you the ability to manually enter bank account details. Only lets you connect directly to your bank using Plaid or some such nonsense(many banks are ineligible to link, like CashApp). This forces you to either go to Walmart and pay their fee or worse, pay with a debit card and be stuck paying an extra $70+ in fees. I would give it zero stars if I could.

2★Login page offers a "remember me" option that has never worked for me. The biometric login option has also never worked. So everytime I want to use the app, I need to manually enter my email, then switch to my email app to wait for the OTP code, then switch back to enter the code...and this mess is supposed to be easier and quicker than passwords? It's not.

1★What a terrible app. If you try to deactivate notifications, including the app LITERALLY CALLING YOU, you can't. A modal pops up and demands you enter your username and password to effect the changes, but there's no place to actually enter them! So you can't change diddly squat. On top of that, you are bombarded with a dozen ads, popups, and useless notifications when going to pay your rent. Just GTFO of my way & let me pay, but nope. Uninstalling.
