ParkMobile: Park. Pay. Go.

Whatever you did caused the app to stop working. The zones don't show on the map. Type in zone and it is asking me what city when I'm clearly standing in the one showing on my map. Then it tells me my payment method isn't accepted without giving any other option (even though all payment methods are shown in a little graphic.) Had to use the website to pay. Very frustrating when you are trying to get somewhere and then have to stand around for 15 minutes trying to pay for parking.

Does not allow you to update active sessions with the car info. support is non existent. I didn't realize that the rental car was not added and I was assuming it will prompt me to add the plate info. The app took the default vehicle in the account and I was not aware of it until the session had kicked off. Then it didn't allow me to update. So I had to pay twice. Worst app design ever.

It's a very practical app that works mostly well. One of my few complaints have always been that I find it unfair that for extending a parking session I have to pay extra fees. Sure they will tell you it's because you're paying again, but hold on my beer for a moment, why don't you just wait till my session ends to charge me the full amount only once? Sounds reasonable, right? Well, I was proven right recently when I discovered that that's exactly how EasyPark on Iceland works! 💯

This is a "my first app review" kind of bad type app. I use ParkMobile for campus parking for the last hour or so to avoid the bus to the commuter lot. The website works well, so I got the app to make it just a bit easier. It's absolutely useless. Can't load let alone pay to park. The gps, despite permissions, has no idea what damn state I'm in, let alone lot. As a Computer Science major there's comfort in knowing there's job security, but I can't use the parking app while I'm getting there.

When trying to add a new vehicle, the app throws an error saying I have reached the limit of vehicles on the personal account. Even after removing vehicles from my list, trying to add a new one still throws an error. Updating an existing vehicle with a new license also throws "Unknown Error". Basic CUJs should have been tested but it's evident that was never done.
