Police Scanner - Live Radio

They updated their ads to have sounds over the streams. It's getting to the point of the app being useless. Update: Having ads is understandable, having ad sound in an app that's based on broadcasting and then covering the button to mute them, is not. And you're not a start up anymore, you've been out for years, that argument doesn't work.

BUYER BEWARE!!! id rate zero if possible. downloaded the free app. found out months later I as billed for a full yrs subscription via PayPal. I cant even open that account let alone purchase through it. I stopped using it yrs ago but somehow they got me for $40 something. I never purchase apps. I haven't since play store became a thing. im a cheap azz. im currently trying to get refunded. no luck thus far. if they make it right or not I will follow up.

The main thing I like about this app is the emergency/Breaking notifications from all over the country. Also, when possible you can find the HAM bands in the description of your stream, I thought that was pretty cool for us hams/preps. The audio is good quality, the stream has a small delay, so when you hear a key in it happened 40 seconds to a minute before hand. But that is to be expected when streaming a radio freq on to the web. EDIT Also, the adds are not super intrusive.

used to be a good app, now it only plays the ads. want to listen to scanner...even if free and need an ad to play...but that's all it does now is play ads. edit to reply to developer... Stating that as a startup you need ads. Ha, I have had this for at least 4 years, and up to last update, never had ads play over the scanner. I get having ads, but that's excessive what you are doing now. You have a problem with your last update or just want to make sure you get people to subscribe.

It's difficult bypassing all the payment options to get to the 'free' part. Nonstop ads. I wanted to listen to police scanners, not much going on at all, I tried the popular locations. I closed the app and immediately got a notification alert about something happening (not my state). I'm not the least bit interested in receiving notifications, can't find any option to remove that nonsense. Uninstalled
