3★Needs a setting where you have the ability to skip the book reading modules. Overall a great learning tool, but my 3 year old cannot sit still long enough to do the story portion and frankly I don't feel he is ready for it. I would use the app more frequently, if I could do a quick 5 to 10 minute lesson on him just practicing letters and sight words. The "book" portion is 8 pages long. it's too much. Perhaps the books can be fewer pages, optional, or a "boss" every few levels.

4★This app definitely has some positives. My 6 year old was behind in reading and I wanted something supplemental. It initially tests you in so you start at the appropriate lesson. Once you get past CVC words this does not teach phonics rules which was frustrating for me. I now use the good and the beautiful free online curriculum (which teaches phonics) and the blend works well. My son always want to do a lesson everyday in addition to our other reading curriculum. He thinks it is fun.

5★This app provides: easy steps and guidance for parents; fun and easy lessons for the kids, along with great reinforcement games/activities; the lessons aren't too long, nor too short... I could go on, I'm so impressed! I'm very confident this app will greatly assist our reading journey! I did the 7 day trial but knew almost immediately after our first lesson that we'd be paying for the subscription. Wish it could be a little cheaper, but in many ways, I can understand its worth.

4★Super engaging and fun app! It's great to work with young kids, or as a refresher for elem age. The lessons are short but interactive and my 3 year old loves it. As a teacher, I'd change some things- using the terms upper/lowercase instead of big/little, using "the letter spells the sound" instead of "says", and being more aware of pictures that go with letter sounds (elephant isn't the best representation for E since it has the sound L, not short e), updating some of that language= 5 stars

5★This app is a game-changer! It helped my little one transition from loving books to reading stories independently. The ABC phonics song and sliding bars for letter-blending are brilliant for confidence. We loved the "baby steps" progression and the fun picture-scratching feature. I’d love to see more rhyming word activities and extra practice chapters added. Watching her read on her own for the first time was such a proud moment—highly recommended for early readers!
