the mobile app is too glitchy especially in duels. it doesn't give proper time and just ends the game while guessing. It sometimes throws random timeouts. the game is pretty good but these kinds of experiences really ruin the game for me, especially the duels. also, there are frequent failed to join the lobby errors as well, which is frustrating for a user with a subscription. also, a lot of times during battle royals, I am stuck at waiting for the contest to start, but it never starts. fix.

I used to enjoy just a free, casual classic game because I liked testing my knowledge. But now, like everything else, it's blocked behind a monthly pay wall. I'm not interested in all the multiplayer and party stuff. They don't offer a trimmed down free version anymore. Everything is turning into subscriptions anymore because of greed. I'm not paying nearly $50 for this.

Unplayable. I have paid for the Pro unlimited, which is pricey. but the app simply doesn't work and I have tried everything. the map where you pinpoint your location is always blank- you can click it and select your location but you have no idea where on the map you chose. and you lose. I have tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting and logging back in multiple times, but nothing changes. For something I paid over $30 for, it should work. Horrible app. Needs to be fixed.

Game used to be great, I spent hours and hours on it, but they've apparently removed the option to use coins to skip levels. I've been stuck on the same rural level for like 4 days because they're basically impossible because all you have are trees and dirt to tell you where you are. Canceling my subscription until I can actually play the game again.

I understand that Geoguessr has costs they must pay, but they have blocked everything fun about the game behind a pay wall. I realize that not everything can be free, but I cannot bring myself to pay for something monthly, which I only play for about two weeks straight before a month long break. I feel as if a single time payment, even for a limited version, would be more reasonable. I'd even take some ads If I don't have to subscribe.
