Why can't I post my edited photo to Instagram after saving? low
Based on user reports, the app's save function applies a metadata watermark that may prevent Instagram from allowing the upload. Some users recommend not using the save button and instead using the export/share option directly to social media.

Does Photoshop Express have a clone stamp tool? low
Recent user feedback indicates that the heal tool previously offered three modes including a clone stamp feature, but as of updates in 2025/2026, only one generic heal tool remains. Clone stamp functionality has been removed.

- Step 2: Tap the '+' button to import a photo from your gallery or take a new one.
- Step 3: Use the bottom toolbar to apply quick fixes like crop, rotate, or one-tap 'Auto Fix' adjustments.
- Step 4: To share your edited photo, use the 'Share' option directly from the app to social media, rather than saving first, to avoid a reported metadata watermark that may block posting to Instagram.
- Step 5: Explore additional tools like 'Text', 'Collage', or 'AI Image Generator' from the home screen for more creative options.

2★Great, but don't use save button, otherwise you can't post it. They have made some sort of update that provides a message upon using the 'save' option that says 'watermark applied'. It isn't a visible watermark, just a Metadata watermark that prevents apps such as Instagram from allowing you to post it. Otherwise, it's amazing. There are plenty of great things to use from the free version. I dropped down from 5 for 2 stars because of this. But it is an easy enough to fix - screenshot and crop.

2★It's good for what it is. It's fairly limited, only letting you make small adjustments to images and compile collages, but if that's what you need, this app will get the job done. Color shifting is easy, you can add text, there's options to export to different apps... All decent stuff, if formatted a bit strangely. If you're looking for something on the same level as the desktop version of Photoshop, though, just use the desktop version. (-1★. Stop asking me to review, I already did.)

4★They removed some important functionality recently! The heal tool used to have three different options, with the ability to act like a clone stamp, but now it's gone back to one generic tool type. I was also shocked that they got rid of the background/subject selection options which were especially nice if you wanted to add a gentle blur or slate saturation drop to the background. This has been my go-to app for photo editing, but removing features I've been paying for is pretty disappointing..

2★just wait until you're home and have your computerm. the mask tool was a pain in the a$$ to use, and wouldn't let you zoom into certain sections. it was only letting me zoom straight in and out, no to the left/ right, to see the more than just the middle. it also continously shows a big notification at the bottom to download Adobe Express. if you minimize it, it just pops up again on the next screen you go to. imo, there's nothing really here for great editing, just very basic stuff

1★a year later in the big 2026 and it still garbo. Still doesn't do what mix used to do, and if it does, it's hidden behind horrible ui and a paywall. Mix was the most straightforward, easy to use, and friendly app for what it did. For me personally, it was absolutely critical to my creative process, and unfortunately, I haven't been able to make my niche genre of digital art since it was disabled. Nothing else works. At this point, I'd pay big dollars to be able to use it again exactly as it was.
