Amazon Photos: Photo & Video

There is no information about the photos. No location info specifically. It used to connect to your phone so you could delete things from your phone as well and now it doesn't do that either. Also, you can't see the daily photos individually, just as a grid. I search my photos most often by location but without location information, folder location on phone, or any other identifying factors, it is literally just a back up of my images. Which is fine, just could be better.

I am having a lot of trouble with Amazon dropping Metadata on photos when uploading them, so the pictures don't have date taken data attached. This makes it extremely frustrating to find photos and see them associated with other pictures from the same date & time period. I've spoken to customer service & they don't have a fix for it. I've done research and without paying for additional apps to download to and then upload from, I have yet to find an easy fix. I'm not impressed!

It is handy for saving pictures. I can access them without a hitch from many different places. Getting gifts with them is more challenging than I would like. The options of either saving the picture right away or not at all is inconvenient. Trying to take more than one picture at a time as the camera slows down has cause problems more than once.

It's slow, glitchy when scrolling, slow to open pics individually, no option to select multiple pictures at once to be deleted,etc. This app has ALL my photos saved from when I initially signed up over 10yrs ago. I've seen pictures I thought were lost/deleted bcz google didnt have them. PTL! I The videos have a limited space in the free version, then there are several options to buy more storage.

App won't let you rotate the phone to view photos/videos in landscape. Often the daily memory won't load. Also wish I could edit the layout of photos in the daily memory frame (zoom in/out, adjust where it cuts off, etc.). Considering this is just an app for viewing photos, it leaves a lot to be desired.
