Expedia: Hotels, Flights, Cars

Used to work fine. I tried to open it, kept getting "Too many requests" that would not allow me to back out. Cleared cache and data, same issue. Saw an update, updated, now I get an error about an issue on their end. I haven't used this app in a while, thought I would try it again to compare prices. Not really feeling the need to waste time with support, don't need this app that bad. If they don't care enough to have a working app, I can go elsewhere.

The app is fine, but I absolutely won't use Expedia again as their support is horrible. As other's have stated, they flat out lie and say they have contacted the hotel and the hotel wouldn't help. Contact the hotel directly and they confirm that they have received no communication from Expedia regarding the booking. Explain this to Expedia, with the hotel contact cc'd, and they just keep sending the same generic email back, "Unfortunately, after multiple tries, we were unable...blah blah blah"

Probably one of the most dishonest businesses I've had to deal with. Don't use this service however easy or slick it may feel. If you have a credit with Expedia for a certain airline, and you search for flights to use that credit, the exact same flight you find to use the credit will be exactly that much more $ than if you searched without credit. So a 200$ credit search will make a $500 creditless flight appear as $700. What a bunch of crooks. Support cannot help you due to policy either.

Booked through Expedia and realized shortly after that my dates were wrong. I contacted both the hotel and Expedia, and each said the other controlled the fees. Neither was willing to help, despite the mistake being caught immediately. I’m now paying nearly $300 for a room that normally costs about $100 per night. Multiple “non-refundable” pop-ups don’t excuse the total lack of customer support. Double-check your dates carefully—there is zero flexibility.

So far, the time I tried to book a flight, there was a error on their end and my account was charged for everything(both flight companies and Expedia) and only one flight and Expedia got reimbursement after charge due to immediate cancelation. Other charge is still pending 2 days later. This app does NOT appear reliable. No communication from Expedia or first flight.
