3★not happy. all of my trackables in the app Lost all their miles. they still show as accurate when I log into the web page but on the app the TBs in my inventory have less than 20 miles even though some of them have logged tens of thousands. I emailed corporate but no answers. I just found out I also lost my ability to give favorite points even though I had several saved up to use. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled app but that didn't fix the problem

1★Subs services are manipulation. As long as it stays this way, it isn't worth it. I had the free version before the subs were available, and enjoyed it enough to buy the app at full price. Swapping to a sub model took the access I paid for away from me to try and force a regular fee. If I can pay for a full version once, I'll upgrade the app and keep playing. With a sub, I'll find the close ones, then unsub and delete the app. I would watch an ad per 1 locked cache. Maybe try that?

3★Geocaching as a phenomenon is very very cool. It encourages people to interact with their environment and each other in a very physical and personal way, which seems increasingly rare as the world becomes more focused on digital interactions. That's all great. The problem is the app itself. Not that it's poorly laid out, but it restricts features behind the paywall that are free on the geocaching website, like access to certain (most) caches. Luckily, the website is very easy to use as well.

3★The app is still great for people who don't pay, HOWEVER, they changed how much it is a year and it's OUTRAGEOUS! It used to be $20 a year which is very reasonable. There's absolutely NO REASON for the prices they require now to have full access. It's the main reason I (and so many other friends and people I know) STOPPED geocaching. When you drop you price back to a reasonable amount, I'll pay for the subscription and give you 5☆.

2★I like the app when I am using it. But I noticed with one of the recent updates it now launches randomly. I will log onto my phone to be greeted with its video playing. I already have issues with battery life. I also wonder what else it is doing without my knowledge. I think I will uninstall and reinstall when we want to go hunt for caches. My wife and I both have premium memberships, which are less useful if the app is not installed.
