1★The app will not let me change my legal name. It sends me notifications to confirm a few details, says my identity has been verified, but won't change my legal name. I'm unable to get a debit card because of this. That's not a big deal since I can just transfer money to my bank. What is a big deal is the fact that their customer support directs me to call the number and the number is completed automated, anything not listed in their menu you can't get help for. It's an awful support setup

1★App is easy to use but I created a business account and enrolled in tap to pay so I can take payments at events and I haven't been able to get it to work once. It keeps saying "something went wrong" and that's the whole reason I got the business account and it doesn't even work. I also can't change my cover photo. Every time I go to change it, it says that I need to use certain formats, and I am but the app is failing to upload apparently. Don't trust it for your business use.

1★This app was fine until about a week ago. I depend on Venmo for important matters, but it has recently started misbehaving. I don't think I can trust it anymore for anything important. First, the software seems to have problems even loading this past week. Secondly, when the app is behaving, it stopped transferring money in the middle of a series of payments I was making. No solution seems to be within sight. I don't think I can trust it anymore.

2★I got Venmo and the debit card with the intention of using it as a way to save for personal fun spending. Turns out, as a sportsman, many of the things I was planning on using it for are prohibited by their terms of service even though they're legal purchases (think ammunition, firearms, etc. from licensed companies). Large money transfers also take a LONG time, and customer service is a joke when needed, as it relies heavily on an incompetent AI system. I'll be looking for other solutions.

4★I like the service, but find the app annoying. When you click notifications for the first time, it will take you to the app, but then the notification gets stuck and won't do anything. It won't clear unless you manually swipe it away. It's difficult to find things in-app (like the link to your profile, for some reason???), it automatically switches you to "transactions" even when you've clicked on "wallet" multiple times. Just frustrating.
