I like the courses with this app I have been using it to take courses on Psychology by Paul Bloom and even other courses and I have to say, it could use some improvements to certain courses like with Google where they charge me monthly just to take a course on Google. But overall, some people debate and say Coursera is a waste of time, personally, I think Coursera is better than nothing for home-schooled kids and really anyone in general looking for university-credited courses, still worth it.

While the app itself works great, I was disappointed to learn that a majority of the courses are no longer free. Some courses you can preview for free, but each one now costs the certificate cost of $49 or you can subscribe to Coursera Plus for $60 a month for unlimited course access. For someone learning for fun and taking my time, $60 a month is not feasible and seems like a waste. I understand they're quality courses, but the free access to learning is why I used Coursera in the first place.

Mobile user: it's frustrating not knowing when a course has been published or last updated, to know what to expect and how to adapt with the current changes of the world. when you are in the middle of a reading, and switch apps then come back to coursera, it scroll back to the top and you have to scroll to find where you were... this is time and energy inefficient. finally not having the ability to bookmark courses you want to study later, you either subscribe or rely on outside ressources.

It keeps logging me out of my account, which itself isn't a big deal since I understand that it is tied to my organization and may not be coursera themselves. However, I cannot log in on mobile anymore. I am able to sign in just fine on desktop, but am no longer able to access my courses on the go which is disappointing. It would be a very convenient app if it worked well on mobile.

Coursera used to be such a great website and app. But as of a few months ago they got rid of virtually all free content. Before, you could learn a course for free but needed to pay to get a certificate. Now you can only learn the first week for free. If you need the certificate or can justify nearly $60 per month just to learn, then it may be with it. The courses are great quality and I learned a lot. It's a shame they got rid of free learning
