This app is my primary source of nightly writing, and it's gotten harder and harder for me to stick with. The mobile text correction is extremely obnoxious and seemingly can't turn off. It seems like I spend more time correcting the automatic "corrections" than actually writing. For example, it'll change my were/we're's and of/if's when it shouldn't. With every update, this app seems to become worse.

Sincerely how hard would it be to be able to add space before or after paragraphs on mobile? Right now all you can do is change line spacing, which isn't what I want. I don't want to look at a wall of text, I'd like to clearly see where my paragraphs begin and end. Also there's strange autocorrect errors (not even close) and it sometimes decides to capitalize random letters. Not sure what's causing these bugs but I wouldn't be surprised if it's AI integration, which is useless 🙄

My go-to word processor for years — but recently Google seems bent on fixing it til it breaks, to the point where I'm going to need to look for alternatives. Specifically, limiting which font sizes can be selected and auto-formatting bullet points when I type a • character at the beginning of a line are beyond annoying. Not being able to select A5 page size is an issue too, just not a new one. My days of easy word processing on mobile seem to be over, and I'm fuming mad about it.

I use this a lot for multiple things and mostly it's extremely useful, BUT every so often, one of my files I've been using suddenly won't open and I get a message saying it can't be opened, with no explanation as to what the sudden problem is or how to resolve it. This problem is quite frustrating when it happens and once it happens, it appears to be permanent.

I'm a Google person (Pixel, Chromebook, Gmail, Keep). I also have a MacBook & PC Desktop. Each has its own function & purpose in my life. The one constant is accessing all of my needs through Drive. Docs allows me the ability to access & edit consistently across all platforms & public devices (I print as needed at the library). It has the same functionality as Word though you will need to become familiar with the How To in Docs as it's not exactly the same. Free, easy, accessible ♥️Google
